This massive beetle can be found in forests. Despite their size, they still fly. As members of the rhinocerous beetle family, males have two horn-like pincers on their head, while females lack them. They are likely used in battle with other males over territory.
Larvae eat decaying wood and take 2 years to become adults.
Adults are attracting to fermenting fruits and tree sap.
